Flip tarp systems are the ideal solution for covering dump truck beds, end dump trailers, or roll-off containers, keeping your load secure.
This versatile system, available in manual or electric options, includes a front-mounted roller bar and a tarp arm that extends the tarp over the load from front to back for complete coverage.
For most flip systems, it's recommended to choose a tarp width that is 10" narrower than the front roller bar for optimal fit.
Typically, tarp lengths are selected to be 2' longer than the bed for comprehensive coverage.
The additional two feet of length provides coverage for any cargo extending over the top rail while ensuring the tarp rolls up neatly and securely.
This replacement roll tarp is constructed from our premium 11-ounce vinyl coated polyester mesh fabric, combining strength and functionality.
The material features an open weave-55% solid-allowing water and air to pass freely through, perfect for breathable coverage.
Open mesh design offers outstanding durability and affordability, ideal for transporting chunky materials like wood chips, bark, or gravel that don't require moisture protection.
Additionally, the open weave reduces wind resistance during operation, minimizing potential damage to the tarp arm.
Our standard flip tarp design boasts a practical rectangular shape, engineered for efficiency and effectiveness.
The front and sides are reinforced by folding over to create a 2-ply thickness, known as the hem, fortifying the tarp's strength.
Heavy-duty webbing enhances the hem's tear strength by 600 LBS, with an extra webbing strip down the center for added reinforcement. The tail end is folded to form a 6" pocket for the tarp arm's seamless passage.
This 6" pocket benefits from dual reinforcement, courtesy of the center webbing strip and hem webbing, ensuring robust performance.
The pocket is secured with a double lock stitch bonded thread, proven to surpass the durability of a welded pocket.
Strategically placed grommets-five in total-across the front hem for reliable attachment to the roller bar, ensuring the tarp stays securely in place.
